forget Paris in springtime

Actually, she's been sprung in NO time. This, on day 2:

"She's using this time to reflect on her life, to see what she can do to make the world better and hopefully, in my opinion, to change the attitudes that exist about her among many people," Hutton said after visiting Hilton.

When she was sentenced May 4, Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer ruled that she would not be allowed any work release, furloughs or use of an alternative jail or electronic monitoring in lieu of jail.

Due to an unspecified medical condition (is PDA withdrawal considered a clinically dangerous condition?) Paris Hilton was released from jail today (day 3!) and ordered to spend the remaining 42 days of her sentence under house arrest. Of which she'll only do 23. For good behaviour.

What an absolute waste of taxpayer dollars. Want to make the world better, Paris? Get an education, get a job, and grow up. Oh, and start wearing panties - if I wanted to see your pootie, I'd rent the video.
